BRUCE HINES Of Littleport, passed away peacefully at home on Monday 26th February, 2024, aged 88 years. Devoted husband of the late Tess, much loved dad of David and Patrick, a dear grandad and great grandad. Funeral Service at St Georges Church, Littleport on Thursday 4th April at 1.00 p.m. followed by private burial at Littleport Cemetery. Family flowers only please, but if desired, donations made payable to M S Society may be left at the service or sent c/o R. J. Pepper & Son Family Funeral Directors, 14 Prickwillow Road, Ely, Cambs, CB7 4QT Tel: 01353 665300

I've just found out this sad news. Bruce was a great friend I made in 2022 when I met him in Hunstanston with Tess in his camper van. The tales he told me about when he met Tess to his work and his metal detecting. Such a lovely man. We spoke quite often on the phone, filling me in on his life.
I will really miss looking out for him in hunny and meeting him for breakfast!!
