REVEREND SHELAGH CONNOR died peacefully at home in Stromness, Orkney on Friday 10th February, aged 98. Shelagh was a youth worker, air raid warden, teacher, missionary, social worker and mother of five children. Her large extended family includes two great grandchildren. A graveside funeral will be held at Warebeth Cemetery, Stromness at 10.30 am on Saturday 25th February, open to all. Family flowers only, but donations will be welcome to Phone Credit for Refugees (PC4R) who can be found at www.pc4r.org

Our deepest condolences to Shelaghs family at a sad time but we celebrate having known Shelagh as a person who lived a long, fruitful and creative life. She was an example of how life should be lived, full of hope, joy and a glorious sense of humour. She will be missed but always remembered. Rest in peace friend. You were in our thoughts in St. Georges Littleport today at 10.30am and remembered with smiles and gentle laughter.
