GEOFFREY LADBROOKE WOOLLARD Died peacefully on Sunday 29th January. Loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather, aged 84 years. Private cremation. There will be no funeral or memorial service. Donations, if desired to Arthur Rank Hospice where Geoffrey was cared for in his last weeks.

I always found Geoffrey a true gent who knew exactly what he wanted in life, I have known and admired him since the very early 70s when I moved to his area and I always enjoyed being available to assist him in various ways.

A great loss to the area. Geoffrey had always been active on the councils ,I think most of his life he has been in favour of helping the area and had strong views of many questionable issues . I know he was against the continual loss of farmland to send it back to nature when we are short of food in the country. I had the same views and was always pleased to hear him speak on the subject.
