Lester On Wednesday, 20th January 2016, after a short illness, (Ethel) Margaret Lester passed away peacefully at Hinchingbrooke Hospital, aged 87. Born in Littleport, she lived in Ely and then Sutton. Margaret was the dearly loved wife of George, much loved mother of Michael, John and Marie and dear grandma of Harriet, Edwina and Kate. She will be greatly missed by all. Her funeral will take place on Tuesday, 9th February at 1330 at St Andrew’s Church, Sutton in the Isle, near Ely. Flowers may be given at the service, or sent to A G Carter Funeral Director, 6 Froize End, Haddenham, Ely CB6 3UQ.
