JOHN SAMUEL AMBROSE of Ely. Passed suddenly, but peacefully at Addenbrookes Hospital on Monday 24th October 2016 aged 84 years. Loving husband to Gwen, Dad to Jane, Claire, Adam and Emily, Grandad to Samuel, Isaac. Lydia, Megan, Reuben, Charlie and Eleanor and Great Grandad to Martha. Also uncle and good friend. Private burial, to be followed by a Service of Thanksgiving at St Marys Church, Ely on Thursday10th November 2016 at 2.00pm. No flowers, by request, but donations, if desired, for the Woodlands Trust, may be left at the service or sent to Ely Funeral Service, 4 Tower Road, Ely, Cambs CB7 4HW Tel: 01353 666566
