The delivery office based within Soham Post Office is due to close later this year.
Royal Mail Group, which runs the Post Office, said the closure will happen in late July.
It means that the current service will be moved to Ely delivery office.
A spokesperson said: "Residents in Soham should not expect a noticeable difference.
"If a delivery is missed, the item will be returned to Ely and automatically redelivered the next day.
"If underdelivered after a second attempt, the customers will be able to collect from Ely or arrange to pick it up from Soham Post Office through the redelivery option."
The spokesman added that no jobs will be lost as a result of the move.
